OK! To all those that I've promised a blog on our trip here it is. Belated I agree! It will be in several Blogs by country. I hope you enjoy it a little we enjoyed it a lot!The highlight of our visit to England prior to the cruise was a tour of Stonehenge. We had previously been to England and this trip we made sure we had time to go there. To make the trip even more fun Linda's sister Betty joined us on this day. She is a Flight Attendant for American Airlines and was in London on a flight. She also joined us for Oxford and Windsor Castle.

A quick picture of Linda and I in the city of Oxford where we toured Cambridge University. A pretty cool day in England.
Leaving out of and returning to Dover we did see those "White Cliffs". Yes folks they really are there in fact one of our group could even sing the song.
Of course no tour of London
would be complete without Big Ben and the Eye of London. While we didn't go in either (it takes almost an hour to make a complete revolution in the Eye) we did get to hear Big Ben.
The last day of touring in London we visited the beautiful Westminster Cathedral. Our tour guide took the whole group through and explained many of the unique aspects of the Cathedral as well as them more popular facts of who was married and buried there. One of the really nice things was we were there on the official day they remember the American soldiers that gave their lives in World War II. The rumor was that the Queen would be there that day to also add her acknowledgment of the day.
