Doodle Romp in Orlando

Last week we attended our first Doodle Romp. The Orlando event started Friday night with a Yappy Hour to meet all the Goldendoodles and their owners. The event was attended by about 80 Goldendoodles and about 160 Owners. Here Mandy meets the woman that is the breeder and runs the event.


The Saturday romp was at a horse farm outside of Orlando. They had a 20 acre field fenced in that was perfect for Doodles to run. They also had several horse water tanks for drinking. It didn't take Mandy long to figure out how to get a drink. Here she is showing some of her friends.







Mandy really enjoyed the Doodle romp portion of the day. There were a lot of dogs and some kids to play with like chase the tennis ball. She is very good at out running the other dogs.

The Sunday we left Orlando we stopped at Starbucks for a latte to drink on the way back home. Mandy was willing to accept a water instead. But she was sure ready to go back to Ponte Vedra Beach.






That evening we went down to the beach to catch the launch of Discovery. It was one of the most beautiful ones we have watched. The launch was at 7:40 so the sun was setting in the north and we could see the light reflecting off the rocket and it's trail well into the sky. Pretty awesome if you've never seen one!
